  • Event Information: Event titles, dates, types, and the media (cover photos, posters) you upload to customize your event.
  • Guest Uploads (User-Generated Content): Photos, videos, names, and messages submitted by guests to an event's digital guestbook.
  • Payment Information: Processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data strictly to provide, maintain, and improve the Weanze platform, specifically to:

  • Host and display your digital event pages and guestbooks.
  • Process your one-time payments and generate QR codes.
  • Send critical transactional emails (e.g., receipts, account verification).
  • Protect against fraud, unauthorized access, and ensure platform security.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platform, such as:

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Google Cloud & Firebase (for hosting and secure database storage).
  • Payment Processing: Stripe (for secure checkout processing).

Any photos or messages uploaded by guests are publicly visible on the specific Event Page they were submitted to, as intended by the platform's core functionality.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account and event data for as long as your account is active. Event organizers may delete their events at any time, which will remove the associated guestbook and media from our active servers. Guests who wish to have a specific photo or message removed must contact the Event Organizer directly, or contact us if the content violates our Terms of Use.

5. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including data encryption in transit and at rest, to protect your personal information. However, no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
